Covid-19 UpdatesQR codes for your meeting places. If you have your own venue, you now need to provide a printed QR code so that those who are 16 and over can use the NHS Test and Trace app. You can generate a unique code for your venue here. Leaders still need to keep records of attendance for your meetings. The ‘Getting back together safely’ webpages have been refreshed to make them easier to use. The programme guidance has been updated with information regarding singing, District events, Remembrance and Bonfire night. For those running online programmes The Scout association is in conversation with ZOOM on potentially extending the free use of the system. More news is expecting within the next few weeks. |

Introducing #RaceRoundTheWorld. This Autumn will be the start line for an exciting new fundraising campaign to support the 500+ groups hardest hit by COVID-19. By racing in teams – hiking, cycling or running miles locally – we’ll be challenging every Scout to travel virtually round the world. It’s a moment to show how much we care. To show our kindness, our courage and our friendship. Make sure you save a slot in your programme, because nationally they are developing some brilliant new (and safe) activities to help young people step up to this challenge. More details to follow. |
