Youth United ConferenceLast Saturday Youth United held there annual conference bringing together managers from the nine uniformed youth groups in Cheshire. Scouting was very well represented with every District taking part and the County Team presented part of the day explaining how we put young people in charge, give them opportunities to lead events and activities and work to embed leadership skills in our programme. |

Remembrance DayIt has been really nice to see the pictures from Groups and Districts who took part in Remembrance Sunday events in their local towns and villages. Encouraging young people to learn about the past and find links maybe to their own family history is a worthwhile activity and supporting our local communities in this way is appreciated locally. Great piece of sculpture created by a leader at Wistaston Scout Group that has drawn interest from around the County. |
