#RaceRoundTheWorld begins

This is the national new fundraising campaign, Race Round the World, which aims to support the 500+ groups hit hardest by COVID-19.

By virtually travelling around the world in teams led by our amazing ambassadors, everyone can help make sure that thousands of young people don’t miss the life-changing skills and experiences being a Scout can bring. All you need to do is get sponsored, complete your miles, and add them to your team’s grand total.

Find out which ambassadors are leading your team (including our fantastic new ambassador Saray Khumalo). More details will be released next week help Leaders with related activities for young people either face-to-face or virtually.

It’s nearly 12 years since Cheshire had a change of County Commissioner and the Regional Commissioner has decided that now is an appropriate time to start the process to recruit a new County Commissioner for Cheshire. Graham Phillips has led the County for all those 12 years and it has been agreed that his term of office will end on Sunday 31 January 2021.

The recruitment process has now commenced, with the intention of confirming the new County Commissioner before Christmas and then to use January for a structured handover.

Dates for your diary
The closing date for applications is 15th November 2020
