New County Youth Commissioner TeamEd Lunnon has decided to step down as County Youth Commissioner after nearly 5 years in the post to focus on his new career. We’re sure you will join us in wishing him well for the future! Ed says; “Being County Youth Commissioner has been amazing and the role perfectly complemented my studies at University, allowing me to give back to Scouting, it’s given me invaluable experience and has been a whole lot of fun.” Ed has developed the Youth Commissioner role and Youth Forum in Cheshire and led some excellent initiatives including #YouShape In a Box and the increase in Youth Involvement at all levels for Chamboree, including the really successful Escape Rooms. Moving forward we’re delighted to announce that a new team is now in place to build on the success of youth focused Scouting in Cheshire with the appointment of Alex Dodd (Chester & District) as the new County Youth Commissioner and Joe Fuller (Macclesfield & Congleton District) as Deputy County Youth Commissioner. They will be directly supported by Dave Hopley. Alex Dodd, County Youth Commissioner (pictured left) Joe Fuller, Deputy County Youth Commissioner (pictured right) |
