Just a reminder that ALL face to face Scouting is notpermitted at the current time. This includes adults undertaking projects for maintenance or repairs to buildings, equipment and camping areas.

The only exception is an individual checking a HQ to maintain insurance cover and this needs to be approved by your DC.

Beware scam e-mail

A number of Groups/Districts have received a phone call from a company called Easytoswitch.com They are very clever and do their research before calling you. This is the experience from one District; She wanted to discuss switching the electricity account that I look after on behalf of “Scouts”, but gave no further information. She also claimed to have e-mailed “adcmidcheshire”, so it would appear that she has done some homework regarding the organisation.

The number she rang from showed as 01416285966, and she asked to be rung back on 01905570548 when I Googled the 2 numbers, both were highlighted as related to scams.
