A Christmas message from the County Commissioner

As the Scouting year in Cheshire draws to a close I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued support and commitment to delivering Scouting in Cheshire.

2017 has been another year of progress and success in Cheshire with another increase in members, substantial success with our top awards throughout the County including Queen’s Scout Awards.

It has also seen lots of new initiatives to support young people with a focus on young engagement and the Young Leader scheme plus DofE delivery. Most Districts now have a Youth Commissioner and the County Youth Forum continues to make a real difference to our planning process, particularly with regard to Chamboree 2018.

Together we are making a real difference. With continued support from people like you 2018 promises to a great year to involved in Scouting in Cheshire.
